Servispart Consulting were delighted to support the inaugural UK Spare Parts Summit in Coventry on the 12th April, 2018.
As recognised experts in spare parts management operations, systems and their successful implementation, Copperberg asked us to support their latest UK event, which was held at the Warwick University business management centre in the brand new Slate Conference centre building.
Spare Parts Summit, 2018
Copperberg’s Spare Parts Summit has become extremely popular in Sweden over the last few years and this is the first time it has been held in the United Kingdom.
This inaugural UK summit was titled “Innovation in Spare Parts” – a subject which is very close to our hearts here at Servispart Consulting!
We were therefore delighted to be invited by Copperberg to speak at this event as one of their recognised independent spare parts experts.
Keynote at the Spare Parts Summit
Our Managing Director, Adrian Botham, delivered a keynote presentation with his aptly titled topic “Grabbing the bull by its parts,” in which he explained new aftermarket insights for parts and equipment manufacturers and how they can exploit the opportunities ahead.
This new version of his presentation focused on the Servitised Economy and why it is imperative for manufacturers to grab it with both hands!
Contracting for Availability
The day also involved a series of roundtables, one of which we hosted on the subject of “Contracting for Availability.”
This built on the topic of the keynote address and assisted a variety of companies in applying the learning into their own organisations by discussing some of their challenges and how they could be overcome.
