John Callender

Biography

John has over thirty years of experience in leading change in retail and distribution businesses, such as Tesco, Home Retail Group and Karcher. He has managed commercial buying teams for both products for retail, and goods and services not for resale. He has led key corporate change programmes to improve service and reduce costs on returns and repairs, home delivery, delivered and installed kitchens and bathrooms, and retail shrink.

His consulting focus is on after sales of consumer goods. John leads branded manufacturers and retailers to improve their management of returns and repairs, to enhance customer service; grow brand perception, and reduce costs and impact to the environment. His clients include online and multi-channel retailers, and branded manufacturers, within the clothing, high value non-food such as electrical.

John is a member of the Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport, and a Prince 2 Practitioner.
