We are delighted to launch our new website, refreshed with a brand new look and much more modern feel.
Since we created our first website in 2006 and our previous, 2nd generation website in 2011, websites have changed a lot!
The Technology Bit
The first one was just a simple HTML website built using website creation software called Net Objects Fusion and was very awkward to update the pages.
So in 2011, we adopted the latest technology and created a website with a content management system (CMS) called WordPress enabling us to add a blog with relevant articles.
Our latest 3rd generation website still utilises Wordpress but it now uses a modern mobile-responsive theme.
As you may have discovered already, this enables our clients, followers and blog readers to enjoy our content on mobile smartphone and tablet devices just as easily as they can on laptop or desktop computers.
If you’re reading this on a computer right now, have a go at dragging the edge of the window with your cursor to make the screen smaller and you should see the content adjust automatically to fit the narrow screen better.
Clever stuff eh?
You may have also noticed the improved graphics, animation and parallax stripe effects on some of our screens such as the home page?
Some people like these, some don’t.
Personally, I’m a fan and I hope you like them too.
What To Expect From Us
Now that we have our new website up and running, you can expect a lot more juicy content from us.
All on the core subject of Aftermarket of course, we’ll be updating our content with useful information, educational articles, practical case studies, success stories, company announcements and much more.
We’ll also be starting a series of educational webinars on a variety of challenging aftermarket topics to help you grow and develop your business.
So watch out for all that and make sure you keep coming back to see us – we love having you here.
We Love To Hear From You Too
If there’s anything in particular that you’d like us to write about or present a webinar on then please send us an email with your thoughts.
Otherwise, in the meantime, please drop us a comment below to let us know what you think of the new website.
